Activities at the Department:

 

Research activities

 

Water quality tests and their evaluation in in situ and ex situ experiments as well as field studies (recreational fishing ponds and natural waters). Study of effective microorganisms in ponds, including their impact on chemical and physical properties of water, algal and planktonic composition, sediment depth, sediment composition, fish body composition and quality, blood parameters, weight gain and gonad development in the past two years. The impact of effective microorganisms on carp, wels catfish and African catfish. Seasonal changes in serum/plasma fructosamine (SeFa) concentrations and glycogen levels of the liver in the silver crucian carp. The most recent research topic: determination of SeFa in zebrafish and to promote diabetes research.
