Research activities

Interspecific germ cell transplantation (cyprinid and salmonid species). Developing techniques for cryopreservation and vitrification of gonadal tissue and germ cell suspensions of different fish species. Sperm cryopreservation and motility assessment (CASA system) and investigation of larval malformations resulting from the use of cryopreserved sperm. Histology, immunohistochemistry and stereological analysis of gonadal and other fish tissues.

During my work, I have gained experience in applied conservation biology methods and programs, water resource management (fish management and water blooms) and invasive fish species biology.
